Worshipping With Us
What kind of church is Our Redeemer's?
At Our Redeemer's United Methodist Church, it is our prayer that all persons
who enter through our doors will find here a place where God's Holy Spirit is a source
of inspiration and strength. We pray that you will experience here the warm, caring,
and faith that is essential to our development as Christians as the Church of Jesus Christ.
We would like to include you in our fellowship of Christian love and service. We have a
well-trained, capable staff, willing to assist you in any way they can. Please feel welcome
to come to the programs, ministries, and community life of Our Redeemer's, and may God enrich your
life through Jesus Christ.
Will you ask me for money?
No. If you are our guest at Our Redeemer's, please do not feel any obligation to
open your wallet. In fact we don't want anyone to give money (or do anything) out of guilt.
Those of us who have made this our church home believe in giving back to God a portion of what
he has generously given us...with grateful and joyous hearts.
What are the services like?
We work hard to make sure your experience at Our Redeemer's is one that is relevant,
welcoming and not pushy. Our services feature a mix of tradition hymns and contemporary music
and usualy a live band at the 10:30 service, dramas or multi-media presentations that introduce the theme of each message.
During the Summer we have one blended service at 10:00am. Our Pastor, Romir Esguerra, talks about an issue that is relevant to our lives today
and what the Bible says about dealing with that topic. For more information on what
to expect on your first visit, check out our Newcomers page.
How will I know where to go?
At each enterance, you'll be greeted with a smile and a handshake. These helpful folks can answer
any of your questions. To act like a "regular" on your first visit,
check out our Newcomers page.
What should I wear?
Whatever you feel comfortable in. People who attend Our Redeemer's wear everything
from business wear to jeans, shorts and sandals. Feel free to leave the tie and high heels at home!
What's the music like?
We have a regular choir, usually a live band and worship team that
lead us using a variety of music styles. Our musicians and singers are first-rate
and do a great job of leading us in worship.
Will I have to sign anything, say anything or be singled out in any way?
No. We want to get to know you, but more importantly, we want you to be comfortable.
We won't ask you to wear a visitors badge or stand up and introduce yourself.
We want you to remain as anonymous as you want to be.
The only thing we ask guests to do is fill out the information you're comfortable
with in the Attendance Book that is passed out at the beginning of each service.
This lets us know you visited with us.
What about my kids?
While you enjoy the 9am worship service, we offer your children opportunities
for fun and learning in various, age-appropriate Children Ministries.
While we expect that your children will enjoy these activities more,
you are welcome to keep them with you during the service if you prefer.
What do you have for teenagers?
Our Youth Ministries team offers a full slate of activities and spiritual
development opportunities for Junior High Teens (grades 6-8) and Senior Senior Teens (grades 9-12).
Teens may also join us in the sanctuary for our worship services.
After the Service...
Please join us for refreshments and fellowship immediately following each worship service in the narthex.
Prior to leaving, check out the Visitor's Table to pick up an information packet to further learn and explore
the ministries, missions, and opportunities Our Redeemer’s has to offer. Whether you're just starting to ask
questions about God, or a committed Christian who wants to sink the roots of your faith even deeper,
we hope you'll find a home here at Our Redeemer's United Methodist Church.
